Orthaga thyrisalis Teatree Web Moth

Orthaga thyrisalis is found in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia. We have seen this moth in April and December.
Larval Foodplant
Leptospermum sp. Teatree, Melaleuca sp. Paperbark. The caterpillars live communally in a webbed shelter of dead leaves.
