Parotis marginata
Found in the north and east of Australia, we have seen this common moth from October to May. The male moths have a brown coremata.




















Larval foodplant
The larvae live in a shelter created from leaves curled or joined with silk. We have found it eating Tabernaemontana pandacaqui Banana Bush. It is also said to feed on RUBIACIAE: Gardenia jasminoides and APOCYNACEAE: Alstonia scholaris.
