Daphnis placida placida

This species is found in Australia in the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales as far south as Wollongong. We have seen the moths from November to March at Claire Cottage.

 We have not had larvae here. Elsewhere it feeds on APOCYNACEAE: Alstonia constricta, Neisosperma kilneriOchrosia elliptica, and Tabernaemontana pandacaqui. Also CORNACEAE: Alangiumm villosum.
