Abantiades labyrinthicus Labyrinthine Ghost Moth
This moth occurs in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. We have seen it here from late January to mid March.

Larval foodplant
These larvae are thought to feed on tree roots, possibly on the roots of MYRTACEAE (Edwards 2007).
This possible foodplant genus grows on our property and is indigenous to the areas of rainforest immediately surrounding our property. Refer ‘Monographs of Australian Lepidoptera’ Volume 12, Splendid Ghost Moths and Their Allies, CSIRO Publishing 2018.
