Abantiades labyrinthicus

Abantiades labyrinthicus Labyrinthine Ghost Moth occurs in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. We have seen it here from late January to mid March.

Two of these larvae were washed from the ground in a heavy rain event. They are possibly A. labyrinthicus

Larval foodplant

These larvae are thought to feed on tree roots, possibly on the roots of MYRTACEAE (Edwards 2007).
