Cephonodes australis
Found in Australia in Queensland and New South Wales south to Taree. We have seen the moths at Claire Cottage in December and February. These moths are diurnal and can be seen nectaring from flowers during the day.
The larva feeds on exotic Gardenia. We have yet to see the larva at Claire Cottage.
