Cephonodes australis
Cephonodes australis is found in Australia in Queensland and New South Wales south to Taree. We have seen the moths in December and February. They are diurnal and can be seen nectaring from flowers during the day.
Larval Foodplant
The larva feeds on exotic Gardenia. We have yet to see the larva at Claire Cottage.
