Chloroclystis gonias is found in southern Queensland and New South Wales. We have seen this moth in November and April.
We bred a caterpillar found on Breynia longifolia from early instar on 15 March through to pupation on 7 April. In later instars the caterpillar made a shelter of webbed leaves. The moth hatched on 25 April.
