Tropical fruitworm moths have broad, rounded forewings, and well-camouflaged scale patterns. Unlike Carposinidae the mouthparts include labial palps with the second rather than third segment the longest.

Phycomorpha prasinochroa
Phycomorpha prasinochroa is the only moth we’ve seen in this family. It occurs in southern Queensland and New South Wales. We have seen it in January.
