Plesanemma fucata is found in southern Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. We have seen this moth in March and April.
The caterpillars feed on Eucalyptus. Pupation has been found in a flimsy cocoon beneath the soil debris.
