Termessa conographa and T. discrepans
According to a moth expert (AK) this genus may need more work to determine these two species. Although various sites mention differences in the black markings – whether or not they reach the margins of the forewings – this is often conflicting and there remains some doubt as to its validity. We have therefore decided to include all our photos of the two species on the one page.
This genus is found in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. We have seen these moths from October to February.
